Botlum is a product of SEDOV ALEKSEI IE (tax number 73072597), an individual entrepreneur registered in the Republic of Armenia, the controller responsible for your data. Contact: go@botlum.com.
The free check
When you check a domain, we keep the domain, the report we make of it, and the e-mail address if you give one. We also record each check request with your IP address and the approximate country and network an IP lookup service reports for it; we use this to limit how many checks one address can start, to keep bots out, and to see where checks come from. The report is deleted after 30 days. The IP address, the browser details sent with the request and what the lookup reported about the address are deleted after 12 months; the record that a check was asked for stays, without them. An e-mail address you leave is kept until you ask us to delete it, and we use it only to write to you about Botlum.
The app
For an account we keep your name and e-mail address (sign-in is handled by an authentication provider), the organizations and workspaces you belong to, your projects and prompts, and the AI answers collected for them. Payments are handled by Paddle; we never see your card.
Who processes data for us
We share data only with service providers that run parts of Botlum for us, each bound to use it only for that:
- a hosting provider in Germany: our servers and database;
- a network and storage provider: bot protection on the free check and storage of collected answers;
- an authentication provider: sign-in and sessions;
- Paddle: checkout, billing, taxes and refunds, as Merchant of Record;
- data providers that ask AI engines your prompts: they receive the prompt text and the country, not your account;
- AI model providers: reading the collected answers to find brands and sentiment, and drafting a profile and prompts from your site’s public pages;
- an IP lookup service: the approximate country and network of an address that starts a free check;
- an e-mail delivery provider: invitations, alerts and digests;
- an error monitoring service: error reports, without the content of your projects.
The current list of these providers is available on request at go@botlum.com.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. The app uses the session cookies our authentication provider needs to keep you signed in.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion by writing to go@botlum.com. Deleting your account deletes your projects and collected answers; billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
